Leg pain encompasses many different issues that Prolotherapy treatment often heals.
The leg anatomically encompasses the tibia and fibula, bones interfacing with the thigh below the knee joint. And of course there are nerves and muscles, ligaments and tendons in the leg.
One of my favorite syndromes of the leg is shin splints since healing them seems to be an enigma to doctors other than Prolotherapists, and Prolotherapy often heals them in one or two treatments.
Patient Success Story: A typical case was that of Dan Miller, the editor of Flatpicking Guitar Magazine. Dan came into the office years ago and the front part of his tibia (shin bone) where it attaches to the tibialis anterior muscle was sore from years of running.

Dan Miller - Prolotherapy Patient For Leg Pain
I used a 30 guage needle (very, very thin) and a Prolotherapy injection of dextrose and lidocaine on every inch of his leg from the top to the bottom. That was a "one shot" treatment protocol for leg pain, and from what Dan tells me he is back to running, pain free.
Other issues that Prolotherapy can assist healing are muscle sprains in the legs, attachments of the fibula (the outer bone) to the tibia (the inner bone, and achilles tendonitis where the calf muscle thins out into the thick tendon that attaches to the back of the heel.
All the best towards living pain free!
