About 90% of patients with low back pain that I see in my office have nothing more than a sprain of the ligaments.

Yes, I see all the Spondylolisthesis, Spondylolysis, Facet Syndromes, Herniated Discs, Muscle Spasms, Radiculopathies, Failed Back Surgeries, and a myriad of other syndromes in my pain management clinic.

Nevertheless, the most common cause of lower back pain even in these syndromes is the ligament sprains and laxity that accompany them. The good news is that most of the lower back pain patients I see can be healed with Prolotherapy treatment.

You may ask, "How can Prolotherapy heal a Herniated Disc?"

As you may know, a herniated disc is one of the back syndromes most feared by patient with back pain. The answer is simple...

Many people without a Herniated Disc have lower back pain. So why do you think the revered MRI that shows a Herniated Disc deserves surgery if is not the cause of a patient's pain?

Instead of an MRI, I first use my hands to find the pain spots. If I can find the proper, lower back pain spots, most of my patients will heal with Prolotherapy injections.

Prolotherapy is a simple procedure that stimulates the immune system to bring inflammation to the area, with fibroblastic activity that actually grows new tissue and regenerates the area. This brings pain relief by stabilizing the area and rejuvenates it to it's pre-injury state.
